The Riverside Girls Golf team is ready to improve on a 2025 season in which they finished 6-9 in Western Iowa play but 11-11 overall for the season. They are returning 5 of the 6 varsity starters from last season, which includes leading scorer Kaycie Perkins who is entering her junior season. The Bulldogs dealt with some injuries last year that hurt their results, but Head Coach Mitchell Rice is excited for what a healthy girls team could look like.
Coach Rice wants to take a different approach with some of the newer golfers on the team as he looks to develop the depth of the team:
There are plenty of girls that can make an impact this season, and having 5 of their top 6 scorers back from 2025 will certainly give Riverside a boost:
The Riverside Girls begin their 2026 girls golf season on April 13th as they take on Logan-Magnolia at the Oakland Country Club. Tee times set for 4:00pm.
