Northern Iowa freshman Will Gerdes has spent this summer adjusting to college basketball. The six-eight All State product out of Cedar Falls High School is one of eight new players on a UNI roster under first year coach Kyle Green.
Gerdes says the biggest adjustment is the physical style of play.
Gerdes is working hard and not focused on how much playing time he may get as a freshman.
Gerdes has spent this summer working with former UNI standout and current Panther assistant coach Seth Tuttle.
