Northern Iowa coach Todd Stepsis says his team is ready for a game. The Panthers open Stepsis’ second season as head coach on Saturday with a visit to Eastern Washington.
Eastern Washington opened the season last weekend with a loss. The Eagles had 425 yards of total offense, including 307 through the air, in a 34-27 loss at Northern Arizona.
Stepsis wants his team to play with great effort and limit mistakes.
Stepsis says besides getting the win there are other things he wants to see.
