The Northern Iowa women declined a bid to play in the WNIT. The Panthers finished the season with a record of 18-14 after losing to eventual champion Murray State in the semifinals of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.
That’s UNI coach Tanya Warren, who had led the Panthers to postseason play in 14 of the last 15 full seasons.
