Northern Iowa basketball coach Ben Jacobson says construction of next season’s roster is underway. The Panthers finished 23-13 after falling to St. John’s in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The first priority is preserving the current roster to try and make another run.*
The Panthers are bring in three recruits and will go to the portal if needed.
Jacobson says says portal needs will be discussed after it is determined how many players are returning.
Jacobson says any season that ends in the NCAA Tournament is a special one.
