No. 7 Iowa women bounced from NCAA Tournament

Cold shooting plagued the seventh ranked Iowa Hawkeye women as they were bounced from the NCAA Tournament. Virginia outscored the Hawkeyes 18-10 in the second overtime in an 83-75 victory in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Iowa saw a nine point fourth quarter lead evaporate and finished five-of-29 from three point range and eight-of-16 at the foul line. Iowa out-rebounded Virginia and had 21 more shot attempts.
