The 20th ranked Iowa Hawkeyes look for a rare victory on the west coast when they visit Washington Friday night. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says the travel and time difference won’t play a factor in the outcome.
The Iowa defense will be challenged by Washington dual threat quarterback Demond Williams.
Ferentz says the Hawkeye pass rush will need to be sound.
It will be Iowa’s first visit to Husky Stadium since 1963 and it is traditionally a tough place for visiting teams.
