The 18th ranked Iowa State men’s basketball team opens the regular season Monday night at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls against Memphis. Under former NBA All-Star Penny Hardaway, the Tigers are coming off a 93-81 exhibition loss at 12th ranked Arkansas.
That’s ISU coachT.J. Otzelberger, who says Hardaway as built a consistent winner.
After being granted a fifth year by an Indiana judge, Tamin Lipsey has provided a boost of experience for the Cyclones.
Lipsey says it will be a good way to open the season.
