Nebraska makes a first ever appearance in the Sweet Sixteen on Thursday night when the Huskers take on Big Ten rival Iowa in Houston. The teams traded home court victories during the regular season.
That’s Nebraska coach Fred Hoiberg who says a concern about Iowa is how they control pace and tempo.
Hoiberg says rebounding will be a key to the outcome.
The Huskers advanced after a thrilling victory over Vanderbilt last weekend in Oklahoma City.
Junior guard Pryce Sandfort leads the Huskers in scoring at nearly 18 points per game. He goes up against the school he used to play for.
Husker center Rienk Mast says there will be some new wrinkles since the two regular season games.
