NASCAR star Chase Elliott hopes to return to the winners circle at the Iowa Speedway in August when the Cup Series returns for a third straight year. Elliott finished third in the inaugural Iowa Corn 350 in 2024 and finished 14th last year. He won at Iowa back in 2012 as a 16-year-old when he took advantage of a late mishap to win a NASCAR K@N Series race.
Elliott says it was a big win at that point of his career.
Elliott says a repave more than two years ago made the Iowa Speedway different than it was in 2012.
The Iowa Corn 350 is Sunday, August ninth.
