New Northern Iowa basketball coach Kyle Green is happy with the staff he has put together. It includes three former UNI players in Marc Sonnen, Seth Tuttle and Klint Carlson. Sonnen and Tuttle were part of former coach Ben Jacobson’s coaching staff.
Carlson spent a year coaching at Furman while Tuttle has been part of the Panther staff the past eight seasons.
Green says the first two weeks have been about preserving the roster a building the coaching staff.
Green on what he will be looking for in the portal to fill out the roster.
After serving 16 years as a UNI assistant Green says it is still sinking in that he is the head coach.
