Iowa women’s basketball coach Jan Jensen hopes to be adding to her roster soon. The Hawkeyes have added three players via the transfer portal, including former Georgia guards Dani Carnegie and Jocelyn Faison. Former Oklahoma State guard Amari Whiting has also signed with the Hawkeyes.
As she said in the previous cut the Hawkeyes have a current roster of nine and they hope to add two more players next week.
Jensen says players in the portal and looking for playing time and that can be challenging for a team with a talented nucleus.
The Hawkeyes have depth in the post and Jensen says they are still looking to add a pure point guard and a wing player.
