Iowa State receiver Omari Hayes says the Cyclones have known for some time they were much better than the preseason polls. ISU is 1-1 and closes nonconference play at home on Saturday against Bowling Green. It’s still early, but the Cyclones look nothing like the 16th place team in the Big 12.
