Iowa State senior guard Leon Bond says he has quickly adapted to the Cyclone roster. Bond transferred to ISU after helping lead Northern Iowa to the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament. He finished second on the team in scoring at just under 12 points per game and also led the Panthers in blocked shots. He spent part of the spring working out with Cyclone sophomore Jamarion Bateman. Both are Wisconsin natives.
Bond feels Iowa State’s style of play is a good fit for him.
