Iowa State coach Jimmy Rogers has been confident for some time that the Cyclones were better than expected. Picked to finish as low as 16th in the Big 12 the Cyclones take a 2-1 record into Saturday’s conference opener at home against 15th ranked Utah.
Rogers believes the Cyclones have many of the ingredients it takes to be successful.
Rogers says the Utes will be a difficult test in the opener.
Defensive back Jaheim Singletary is in concussion protocol. Singletary was carted off the field early in ISU’s 55-7 win over Bowling Green and taken to the hospital.
