Iowa State women’s coach Bill Fennelly says the Cyclones are focused on Syracuse and not a potential second round game against top ranked UConn. The Cyclones and Orange meet Saturday afternoon in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in Storrs, Connecticut. A win would set up a likely second round game against the defending national champions.
Fennelly says there is too much on the line to get caught looking ahead.
Fennelly is confident the Cyclones will be ready on Saturday.
