Iowa State is on the road Friday night at eighth ranked BYU. Cyclone coach Jimmy Rogers says the offense kept with West Virginia defense off balance in last week’s 45-42 win and they will need to do the same thing against the Cougars.
Rogers says the physical style of play by BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier (Bawk-my-ir) sets the tone for the Cougars.
And Bachmeier’s ability to run is a big reason BYU is converting better than 57 percent on third downs.
