Iowa State quarterback Jaylen Raynor says the Cyclones worked on improving the offense during the bye week. ISU ranks next to last in the Big 12 in total offense and takes a 3-3 record on the road to 25th ranked Arizona Saturday night.
Raynor says they are getting ready for an Arizona defense that will give them multiple looks.
Arizona has an effective pass rush and the Cyclones need to avoid third and long situations.
With several receivers injured some new faces have been called in to step up. Redshirt senior Ty Claiborne (clay-born) has caught six passes in the last two games and feels the bye week was beneficial.
Claiborne says against an aggressive Arizona defense it will be important for the Cyclone receivers to win at the line of scrimmage.
