Iowa State offensive coordinator Tyler Roehl says there is a sense of urgency as he installs a new offense this spring. Roehl rejoined the Cyclone staff under new coach Jimmy Rodgers after spending the past season as the tight ends coach with the Detroit Lions. His plan during spring drills is to double the reps in practice.
Roehl says there is an offense working at both ends of the field.
Roehl feels this system is the best way to get the Cyclones prepared for next season.
Roehl says he is happy with the progress but there is a long way to go.
The Cyclones close spring drills on April 25th.
