Iowa State basketball coach T.J. Otzelberger says freshman guard Christian Wiggins will miss the upcoming season after suffering an Achilles injury in summer workouts. The six-five guard was considered the top player in the state of Minnesota as a senior.
Otzelberger says Wiggins was performing well in summer workouts when the injury occurred.
Otzelberger says Wiggins made a quick adjustment to the college level.
