Iowa Speedway president Eric Peterson says a complete repave of the track will begin immediately after Sunday’s Iowa Corn 350. The repave is a portion of more than 19 million dollars in upgrades to the 20-year old facility.
Peterson says the repave of the track will start Monday.
NASCAR announced this week that the Cup Series will return to the Iowa Speedway in 2027 on the Fourth of July.
Iowa Speedway opened in 2006.
