IOWA CITY, Iowa – Two student-athletes – Mischa Reiners and Caitlin Tighe – have signed with the University of Iowa softball program, it was announced Monday by head coach Stacy May-Johnson.
Reiners joins the Hawkeyes with two seasons of eligibility remaining, while Tighe has one.

- Went 5-for-5 with two RBIs in the 2025 Region 11-B Championship game
- Hit .361 with 51 RBIs and 63 runs scored in 68 games as a freshman
- Started all 67 games in 2026
- Batted .385 with 13 home runs, 30 stolen bases, 73 runs scored and a team-high 91 RBIs in 2026

- Batted .337 while tying for the team lead with 10 home runs and 39 runs scored
- Ranked second on the team with 38 RBIs in 2026
- Tallied 13 multi-hit games during her senior season
