Iowa returns to Hank Brown at QB

Iowa is returning to Hank Brown at quarterback heaing into Saturday’s game at home against 25th ranked Wisconsin. Brown replaced Jeremy Hecklinski in the second quarter last week and the two combined to throw three interceptions in a 13-10 loss at Minnesota.

That’s Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz, who says looking back he felt it was the right decision to switch quarterbacks in the second quarter.

Leading rusher Kamari Moulton is done for the season after getting injured at Minnesota and with back up LJ Phillips questionable with an injury. sophomore Xavier Williams and freshmen Nathan McNeil and Braeden Jackson will have an expanded role.

The production of leading receiver Tony Diaz has tailed off the past few weeks. Diaz only has four receptions in the last two games.
