Iowa quarterback Hank Brown says he is ready for whatever rotation is used in the season opener against Northern Illinois. Brown is competing against Jeremy Hecklinski for the starting job and coach Kirk Ferentz says it remains to close to call.
Brown feels he has had a solid fall camp despite not playing well in last months Kid’s Day scrimmage.
Brown says whoever wins the job will lead an offense that has more big play ability.
Hecklinski is not focused on how long this could play out.
