Iowa offensive coordinator Tim Lester says quarterback Hank Brown has returned to practice. The Hawkeyes are on a bye week before returning to action on October 24th at Minnesota. Brown started the first five games but missed a 41-24 win at Washington with a sprained shoulder. Jeremy Hecklinski passed for 202 yards in that game and Lester says he does not know who will get the start next week against the Gophers.
Lester says the Hawkeyes will need both to have a successful second half of the season.
Lester says with so many teams experiences injuries at quarterbacks they are trying to build an offense that will allow them to win with both.
They will need to pick a starter for Minnesota but Lester is confident they can win with both.
