Iowa tackle Trevor Lauck (lowk “ow” as in how) has high expectations for the upcoming season. The redshirt junior started all 13 games at left tackle a year ago and is garnering preseason All-American mentions.
Despite losing 16 starters from a team that finished 9-4 the Hawkeyes enter the season nationally ranked.
With three starters gone from the offensive line a number of young players will need to step up.
Lauck believes the offensive line will still have quality depth.
The Hawkeyes open the season at home on September fifth against Northern Illinois.
