Iowa OL Kade Pieper on his move to center

Kade Pieper hopes to become the next standout center for the Iowa football team. The native of Nebraska was moved to center after a 2025 season in which he started all 13 games at right guard and earned third team All Big Ten honors.

Pieper follows two All Americans. Tyler Linderbaum was named the Rimington Award winner in 2021 and Logan Jones won it last season.

Pieper is part of an offensive line that must replace three starters. He feels the unit is making progress during summer workouts.

Pieper says chemistry is a big part of a successful offensive line.

Pieper is garnering preseason All-American honors. The Hawkeyes open the season at home on September fifth against Northern Illinois.
