Iowa will look for its third road victory in Big Ten play when the 15th ranked Hawkeyes visit Minnesota in the 120th meeting in the series. Iowa has already post wins at Michigan and Washington.
That’s Iowa center Cael Winter, who says a key to road success is handling crowd noise.
Winter feels an offensive line that has three new starters is making progress. After struggling to run the ball against power four competition the Hawkeyes broke through with 263 yards on the ground in a victory at Washington.
After being named the starter this week, Jeremy Hecklinski will get his second start at quarterback. Hecklinski filled in for the injured Hank Brown and passed for 202 yards and three touchdowns in the win at Washington. He began his college career at Wake Forest.
Hecklinski says his performance at Washington provided a confidence boost.
