Iowa guard Isaia Howard on summer improvement

Iowa junior guard Isaia Howard has been working this summer at becoming more of a threat on offense. Howard appeared in all 37 games last season and averaged just over five points per game and finished second in steals with 38. He shot only 28 percent from three point range and perimeter shooting was a focus during summer workouts.

Howard says a large group of returning players has helped provide good leadership. The Hawkeyes have 10 players back from a team that made a run to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.
