Iowa forward Trey Thompson was one of the last college basketball players to officially redshirt. A top 100 recruit out of Tennessee, Thompson reclassified to get an early start on his career but never saw the court. Beginning this year, basketball players will get five years to play five seasons.
Thompson says he never considered jumping into the transfer portal to look at options.
Thompson says he is using summer workouts to diversify his game.
