Two Iowa football players are home in Northwest Iowa to support a community fundraiser. Defensive back Zach Lutmer and receiver Reece Vander See will take part in the Hawks for Haiti community tailgate, tonight, in Rock Rapids. Proceeds from the event will support Touch of Hope and its community school in Haiti. Lutmer and Vander Zee both starred at Central Lyon/George-Little Rock and Lutmer says it is an opportunity to give back while also helping children and families in need.

Lutmer says film study is a big part of his preparation for next season. He is coming off a sophomore campaign in which he earned second-team All Big Ten honors.
The Hawkeyes open the season by hosting Northern Illinois on September fifth.
