Iowa DE Max Llewellyn on being drafted by Miami

Former Iowa defensive end Max Lewellyn is thrilled with the chance to prove himself at the next level. Lewellyn is coming off a senior season in which he finished second for the Hawkeyes in sacks and tackles for losses and says it does not matter that he lasted until the seventh and final round of the draft.

Llewellyn says lasting until the final round gives him added motivation to prove himself.

Llewellyn has felt like an underdog dating back to his days at Urbandale High School.

Llewellyn did not become a starter until his final season with the Hawkeyes but says he never considered leaving the program.
