Hawkeyes Complete Two Rounds in Dallas

DALLAS, Texas — The University of Iowa women’s golf team sits in 14th place out of 17 teams after two rounds at the Huntington Bank Collegiate, hosted at Trinity Forest Golf Club. The Hawkeyes posted rounds of 301 and 297 for a 36-hole total of 598.

Junior Maura Peters led Iowa with a 36-hole total of 146 (73-73), recording five birdies on the day. Peters is currently tied for 40th place.

Senior Riley Lewis carded a 36-hole total of 150 (75-75) with six birdies and is tied for 60th.

Senior Kaitlyn Hanna and junior Ximena Benites are both tied for 70th place. Hanna posted a 152 (76-76), while Benites recorded a 152 (79-73).

Senior Shannyn Vogler is tied for 83rd after finishing with a two-round total of 156 (77-79).

UCLA leads the team standings with a 36-hole total of 559 (17-under-par). Oklahoma State’s Marta Silchenko holds the individual lead at 9-under 135 (67-68).
