Griswold Tigers Ready for 2026 Football Season

The Griswold Tigers are returning all but two players from their 2025 roster this season. They are looking to improve on last season in which they went 1-8. Dain Laverty will take over as the full-time quarterback this season. He was 17/50 last season for 294 yards and two touchdowns. Alex Rasmussen is a returning senior who was the leading rusher for the Tigers last season and will assume the starting RB role again in 2026. Griswold is taking on East Mills in a Week 0 game on August 21st. Head Coach Seth Lembke addressed how the preseason has felt for Griswold.

The Griswold Tigers host the East Mills Wolverines on Friday night in a Week 0 Matchup. It is a rematch of last season where East Mills won 34-32. The game will be broadcasted on KJAN and KJANTV with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30pm.
