The Griswold Tigers sit fourth in district standings with a 3-5 overall record as they navigate their 2026 season and look to build momentum down the stretch. Through eight games, the offense relies heavily on junior standout Dain Laverty, who anchors the attack as a dual-threat playmaker with 642 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns on 113 carries, alongside 596 passing yards and another 7 scores through the air.
Junior Colton Frieze emerges as a major weapon on the outside, racking up 267 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns on 19 receptions while also contributing 237 yards and a score on the ground. This dynamic playmaking from the team core leaders keeps opposing defenses guessing all season long.
While the Tigers experience tough matchups against top district opponents like Audubon and CAM, they put together strong victories—highlighted by wins over East Mills, Sidney, and Ar-We-Va. Head Coach Seth Lembke says experience on the team has been the key this year.
