The Griswold Girls Track and Field team is sending seven events to state this season split between three relays and four individual events. The relays include the Shuttle Hurdle, 4x400m and Distance Medley. Individually, Carsyn Adams, Brystol Wyman and Ella Grade will be competing in their respective events. Every qualifier for Griswold was an at large bid, so they had to wait until after the district meets to see the results.
Ella Grade is competing at her first state meet in the discus as just a sophomore. This was a goal for her, but it took a lot of work and discipline as the season went on:
Overall, this is a very young team for Griswold. There is not a senior who qualified for state this season, but it has been a great experience for some of the younger athletes:
Carsyn Adams is running in both the 100 and 400m hurdles and the only Tiger in two individual events. She has also recorded some of her fastest times of the season in the last couple meets:
