The 1A Boys District Tournaments begin on July 3rd, and the matchups have been set. The Griswold Tigers begin their postseason run with a matchup against Ar-We-Va. Griswold currently sits with a record of 6-11 and is a team that prides themselves on solid pitching and fielding. They have three pitchers with an ERA under 3.00 and have a positive run differential across 17 games. Their first-round matchup with the Rockets is fairly even on paper, but Tigers Head Coach Ryan Lockwood thinks his squad has a great chance of victory.
