It is game week at Drake as the Bulldogs get set to open Thursday night at home against South Dakota Mines. It will be the debut of new coach Matt Walker, who has promnised an attacking, up tempo style on both sides of the ball. Senior linebacker J.R. Flood says conditioning is a must with this new style of play.
Flood says with any opener, in game adjustments will be a key.
Flood is anxious to see how teams play against them.
Walker is Drake’s third different coach in three years, but Flood says the players bought in quickly.
