Former Iowa State star Joshua Jefferson on joining the Brooklyn Nets

Former Iowa State star Joshua Jefferson says he has recovered from an ankle injury he suffered in the NCAA Tournament and is ready to embark on an NBA career. Jefferson was taken with the 28th pick in the NBA Draft by Minnesota before being traded to the Brooklyn Nets. Jefferson suffered an ankle injury early in an opening round win over Tennessee State and missed the remainder of the NCAA Tournament.

Jefferson says the Nets were one of the teams he was in contact with leading up to the draft.
