Former Iowa Standout Geno Stone says his connection to another former Hawkeye is one of the reasons he signed with the Buffalo Bills. Stone signed a free agent deal with the Bills after playing safety for the Cincinnati Bengals the past two seasons. Hyde spent the final six seasons of his NFL career playing safety in Buffalo.
Stone says as a veteran in the league he believes he can help a team that has its sights set on a deep postseason run.
Stone spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens.
