Drake basketball coach Eric Henderson says in the age of roster turnover and the transfer portal summer workouts are even more important. The Bulldogs are in their second week of summer drills. Eight new players joins six who returned from last season’s team that posted a record of 14-20.
Drake suffered seven losses last season that went to overtime or were by five points or less. Because of that, Henderson is trying to make this summer for competitive.
With so many new players developing chemistry is important. Much of that comes away from the court.
