Donovon Hedrington of Atlantic commits to play football at Virginia University of Lynchburg

Donovon Hedrington, Senior at Atlantic High School, has signed his National Letter of Intent to play football at Viginia University of Lynchburg starting in the fall. Hendrington was a two-way varisty lineman for the Trojans who finished his senior season second on the team in sacks with 4.5 and tallied 29.5 total tackles. He also earned All-District honors last fall in Class 3A. For Donovon, the decision was between two schools, but it felt clear to him where he wanted to go.

Playing football at the next level has always been a goal for Hedrington, and his love for the game has made the hard work enjoyable:

Going into a brand-new system certainly has its challenges, but Donovon is ready for what college football has to offer:

Even though he is only a few months into the offseason, Hedrington can’t wait to play football again and get back out doing what he loves:

Donovon Hedrington will begin his college football career at Virginia University of Lynchburg this fall where the plan is for him to play on the defensive line. Academically, he will study pre-med with the end goal of becoming a dermatologist.
