The Cougars had a record of 4-4 last season just missing playoff opportunity. Zach Kauffman who will be dual threat for passing and rushing this year is returning as a junior. Kauffman led the team in passing yards last season. Senior Kayden Winther had 322 rushing yards last season. Winther will not only be a threat for the run game but as a receiver as well having 330 receiving yards last season. On the Defensive side of things Senior Kason Calhoun will return as a linebacker who had 74 tackles last season. The Cougars look to be strong and more consistent on both sides of the ball with having a lot of returning players.
That was head coach Kaufman who believes in the squad and believes the team benefits from having a returning squad.
Although CAM has a lot of returning players, they will look at some fresh faces for their starting line-up
CAM will go on the road to open their season against Fremont-Mills.
