FRISCO, Texas – Today, the Big 12 announced winners of the Allstate Commissioner’s Cup and the Bob Bowlsby Award at the 2026 Monster Energy Big 12 Football Media Days
Arizona was awarded the Allstate Commissioner’s Cup after accumulating the highest number of points (1,377.625) throughout the 2025-26 Allstate Big 12 Championship series, including Conference titles in men’s basketball and men’s tennis. Points are accrued throughout the year through Big 12 championship results, regular-season performance, and off-field achievements, including academics, graduation outcomes, career development and community service.
The Commissioner’s Cup launched last year to recognize Big 12 athletic departments for their efforts in fostering an environment that develops student-athletes both on and off the field. The award builds on Allstate’s 20-year commitment to supporting college athletics and helping student-athletes succeed in competition, the classroom and their communities. In addition to winning the Allstate Commissioner’s Cup, Arizona will also receive a scholarship donation from Allstate.
The Big 12 also recognized recipients of the fourth-annual Bob Bowlsby Award, given to the student-athletes who exemplify leadership and achievement on and off the field. Established by the Big 12 Board of Directors and named after the league’s former Commissioner Bob Bowlsby, this award is the Conference’s highest individual honor. The winners were determined by a vote of the league’s athletics directors.
This year’s winners were Arizona State’s Jonny Kulow, Cincinnati’s Juliette Laracuente-Huebner and TCU’s Olivia Miles.
A five-time NCAA champion, Kulow concluded his career as one of the most accomplished swimmers in Arizona State history. The senior maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout all eight semesters at ASU and was a four-time Academic All-American and NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete. A two-time team captain, Kulow helped lead the Sun Devils to four consecutive conference championships, a 2024 NCAA team title and represented Team USA internationally, winning medals at both the Pan American Games and World Championships.
