Audubon Boys Golf Ready for Another Winning Season in 2026

The Audubon Boys Golf season is right around the corner, and the Wheelers are looking to build off of their 2025 campaign where they finished 10-3 in Western Iowa Conference play. On of the big strengths of this team will be their depth. They are returning 5 of their top 6 scorers from last season, with three of them being upperclassmen. Head Coach Micky Williamson is looking forward to retaining many of his top golfers from 2025.

The depth of this year’s team will be Audubon’s strength, but talent near the top of the roster is what Coach Williamson is most excited for:

Henry Burr was the Wheeler’s top scorer in 2025 as a junior, with a 9-hole average of 42.25 and an 18-hole average of 83. He returns as a senior as not just one of their best golfers, but leaders as well:

Along with Henry Burr, Audubon has plenty of other great upperclassmen golfers and leaders. Coach Williamson highlights a few that will make a difference this season:

It’s not just the upperclassmen that will make an impact this year. Hudson Hocker and Aiden Kjergaard got playing time as freshman and will certainly be a part of what the Wheelers accomplish on the links this year:

The Audubon Wheelers Boys open their season against AHSTW on April 6th at the Avoca CountryView Golf and Grille. Tee times scheduled for 4:00pm.
