Atlantic Softball Enters Regional Tournament Ranked #8 in Class 3A

The Atlantic Trojans softball team will enter the postseason ranked #8 in class 3A in the most recent IGHSAU poll. They hold a 29-6 record following an 18-3 win over Treynor. As a team they have a batting average of .358, averaging over 8 runs per game. They finished the 2026 regular season with a perfect 20-0 conference record and will be Hawkeye Ten Champions. The Trojans are led in hitting by senior catcher Lila Wiederstein who is hitting .462 and has slugged 8 homers.
