The Atlantic Girls Track and Field team will be represented well at the state meet this season! Stella Van Aernam will be running the 100m alongside Lila Wiederstein and the 200m with Braeleigh Hass. Jayci Reed qualified in the 100m hurdles as well. The 4x100m and 4x200m relay teams will be running in Des Moines as well. Lila Wiederstein qualified for two individual events in the long jump and 100m. This season has looked different for Lila since she had to work back from hip surgery in the offseason.
For Jayci Reed, she is not new to the big stage in the 100m hurdles. Head Coach Matt Mullenix praises Reed for how she continues to push herself:

The Atlantic Girls will compete at the State Track and Field meet beginning next Thursday through Saturday, May 21-23 at the Drake Stadium Track in Des Moines.
