Atlantic Baseball saw growth throughout the season especially in the seniors. six out of the eight seniors were on the starting line-up and a few of them stepped up to be the star players of the season. Kale Jensen stepped up big time leading the team in hits, runs, and RBIs. Jensen ended the season with 31 hits, a batting average of .388, 25 hits, and 22 RBIs. Another stand out senior, Sawyer Tarrel, was close behind Jensen with 25 hits, 20 runs, and a batting average of .309. An upcoming player to look out for next year for Atlantic offensively is Paxton Pross who was an eighth grader this year. Pross put up some good numbers with having, 17 hits, 8 RBI’s and a batting average of 246. Kale Jensen led pitching side of things for most strikeouts. Jensen ended the season with 49 strikeouts on the season and Jack Muller followed right behind him with 48 strikeouts. The senior, Hudson McLaren, ended with 36 strikeouts on the season. Head Coach Nathan Block says the kids were motivated everyday.
