AHSTW Gets the Win Over CAM to Advance to the District 15 Championship

It didn’t take long for the Vikings to get going. AHSTW scratched across a run in the first inning and exploded in the 3rd and 4th innings to grab some early momentum. CAM answered with a run of its own in the third and stayed withing striking distance. AHSTW never stopped applying pressure because in the fifth they plated a pair of runs, forcing CAM to play catch-up the rest of the night. The Cougars showed plenty of fight. they put together a two-run fifth inning and adding another in the sixth. CAM had 12 hits on the evening and had opportunities throughout the game but stranded nine runners. AHSTW capitalized on key hits and timely baserunning. On the mound, Carson McKee gave four innings before Colin Bower came in on relief striking out four players on the night. For AHSTW Camdyn Dressen battled into the sixth inning before Kiptyn Lamp finished the game and ended the game on a strike out walk away with a final of AHSTW 9, CAM 5.

The Vikings aren’t ready to give up yet.
