The 2026 AHSTW Boys Basketball finished on a high note by defeating 14-7 Ar-We-Va by a score of 44-34. The Vikings also were awarded with two individual honors. Collin Harder earned 2nd Team All-Western Iowa while Drew Lee was selected as an honorable mention. Collin Harder was one of four seniors on this year’s AHSTW team and led all players in scoring with 13.8 ppg. The season wasn’t always easy, but a tough conference schedule prepared this group for playoff basketball. Head Coach G.G Harris characterizes this group with one word.
AHSTW entered Ar-We-Va High School with 8 less wins than the Rockets, but that did not phase the Vikings in a hostile road environment:

AHSTW Boys Basketball’s success they saw in the playoffs is a sign of things to come according to Coach Harris. They will be returning eight of their twelve players from this season in 2027.
